Cynara scolymus, commonly known as artichoke, is a member of the Asteraceae family. It is cultivated for its edible flower buds and is considered a delicacy in cuisines around the world. The artichoke is believed to have originated in the Mediterranean region and has been used for centuries in culinary and medicinal applications.

The artichoke has large, pointed, grey-green leaves and can grow up to several 60 cm tall. The edible part of the artichoke is the immature flower bud before it flowers. The buds are harvested and prepared as vegetables.

Ingredients: Cynara scolymus leaves, Cynara scolymus leaf extract (contains 5% cynarin), fructooligosaccharides (from Cichorium intybus root), filler calcium phosphates, maltodextrin, adhesive silica, adhesive magnesium salts of fatty acids.

3 tablets contain: 570 mg of chopped leaves of Cynara scolymus, 300 mg of Cynara scolymus leaf extract (containing 15 mg of cynarin).

Suggested use: 1 tablet 2-3 times a day with water with meals.

Warnings: Excessive intake of fructooligosaccharides may cause intestinal discomfort. Do not exceed the recommended dose. The food supplement should not be used as a food substitute.
