Elecampane root herbal tea Original Herbs is a tall perennial herbaceous plant belonging to the Asteraceae family.

Elecampane root herbal tea Original Herbs has a sturdy stature, growing up to 6 feet (2 metres) tall. It has large, lance-shaped leaves with serrated edges arranged alternately along the stems. The plant produces clusters of bright yellow, daisy-like flowers with prominent yellow inflorescences surrounded by ray florets.

Native to Europe and parts of Asia, the elecampane thrives in moist, well-drained meadows, forest edges and disturbed areas. It can tolerate a wide range of growing conditions, but prefers sun to shade.

Elecampane root herbal tea Original Herbs blooms from mid to late summer, attracting a variety of pollinators such as bees and butterflies with its nectar-rich flowers.

Elecampane root herbal tea Original Herbs has a long history of use in folk medicine and culinary traditions, especially in Europe. It was valued by ancient civilisations such as the Greeks and Romans, and was later adopted by traditional herbalists during the Middle Ages and Renaissance.

Ingredients: crushed roots of elecampane (Inulae Helenium L.) 100 %.

Net content: 50 g

Preparation: 1 tbsp (5 g) pour 200 ml of boiling water over 1 tbsp (5 g), heat in a water bath for 30 min. Cool, strain, add up to 200 ml boiled water. Take ½ glass 2-3 times a day before meals.

Storage: store in a dry, dark place.
