Chondrus crispus - commonly known as Irish moss or carrageenan moss - is a species of red algae that grows abundantly on the rocky Atlantic coasts of Europe and North America, and is a marine plant packed with vitamins, minerals and other essential nutrients.

Use: One of the easiest and tastiest ways to enjoy the benefits of red algae is to add it to smoothies. Simply mix a small amount of soaked and rinsed red algae with your favourite fruit, vegetables and liquids (e.g. almond milk or coconut water). Suitable for flavouring soups and sauces.
Warnings: May contain traces of milk (including lactose), soya beans, peanuts, other nuts, sesame seeds, oats, eggs, crustaceans, fish. Not for use by persons sensitive to tea ingredients.
