Glycerine suppositories are a mild anti-constipation remedy to relieve bowel movements. Glycerine suppositories make bowel movements easier in several ways. When contact with the mucous membrane occurs, the defecation reflex is triggered. Glycerol softens stagnant faeces, increases the amount of faeces in the lower part of the colon, and produces a gliding effect. This makes the defecation process quick and easy. The glycerine suppository keeps its shape for a long time - it does not dissolve on its own and there is not enough liquid in the rectum to dissolve the suppository. This characteristic makes the suppositories disappear almost unchanged after defecation.

Ingredients: glycerine, stearic acid, purified water.

Method of use: peel off the foil over the pointed end of the candle and remove the packaging. Insert the suppository into the rectum with the pointed end forward. The effect takes effect within 30 minutes after use.

Contraindications: Do not use this medical device if you experience acute abdominal pain or other pain of unknown origin. In case of hypersensitivity to any of the ingredients of the glycerine suppositories or if there is a history of inflammation or fissures in the rectal area or if the haemorrhoids bleed.

Dosage: adults and children over 12 years of age: 1 suppository daily. The glycerine suppository is for single use. Suitable for use by pregnant and breastfeeding women.

Precautionary statements: individual incompatibility of components. Do not use after the expiry date indicated on the packaging. Do not use if the packaging is damaged.

Storage conditions: in a dry place at +5 °C to +25 °C, out of the reach of children.
