Coltsfoot dried leaves, 50 g

Coltsfoot is a long-lived, small, herbaceous plant. The branched rhizome of the sage extends underground and produces a single-flowered, circular stem about 15-20 centimetres high. The bright yellow flower is a couple of centimetres across and the leaves are dark green, rounded, large and toothed. The lower surface of the leaves is covered with white hairs, giving a whitish appearance. The active substances of early salal are: mucilage, flavonoids, inulin, carotenoids, organic acids, essential oils, saponins, glycosides, vitamin C.

Ingredients: 100 % dried leaves of coltsfoot (Tussilago farfara).

Use: decoction: 1 tbsp of dried leaves in a glass of water and boil for about 3 min. Set aside for about 15 min. and strain. Drink the decoction 2-3 times a day, between meals
